Professor Jimmy Lai was awarded the Gold Prize of the Anna Lok Award for Research Excellence at the HKASLD 38th Annual Scientific Meeting & International Symposium on Hepatology 2025.

The award recognises his research on improving the linkage-to-care for patients with chronic hepatitis B in Hong Kong. This project aims to strengthen early connection to appropriate clinical care, with the vision that its outcomes can be applied both locally and internationally to support the global goal of hepatitis B elimination.
